Journey through the world’s most reputed and famous trek with us! The Everest Base Camp trek, or EBC trek, will take you through the beautiful Khumbu Sagarmatha National Park (“Sagarmatha” is the Nepali name for Everest). Experience the home valley of the Sherpas, a people with whom we Tamangs share Tibetan origins, and stand at the feet of the world’s highest mountain.
You will discover a world of 6,000, 7,000, and 8,000 meter peaks that is unlike anywhere else on the planet – Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam (many consider this peak the most beautiful in the world), Kangtega, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu and more. If you choose to walk from Jiri, or Lukla, if you want to cross the Renjo La and Cho La high passes, or if you decide to visit the Gokyo lake, Thame, and Chukung valleys, we will plan and organize your trek carefully.
This trek can be done year-round, but the ideal time for this journey is in the autumn (October-November), as this is the time of year with the clearest views and driest weather. In addition to the gorgeous landscape, the Khumbu Sagarmatha National Park offers many cultural gems as well, such as the Tengboche monastery, Thame Gompa, the busy life of the fantastic Namche Bazar, and much more.
